Started by former Xbox game designer Elan Lee and The Oatmealâs founder Matthew Inman, Exploding Kittens and its family of games seek to reshape traditional game night into an entertaining person-to-person experience. Today, there are nearly 30 games available for purchase, an exclusive Exploding Kittens mobile game for Netflix subscribers, a free-to-play app, Kitty Letter, and an Exploding Kittens mobile app available iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch as well as an animated Netflix series titled âExploding Kittensâ in production.
As a critical member for the operational side of our entertainment/board game organization, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and coordinating game samples as well as facilitating the coordination of all production projects. This role assists in managing external vendors as well as internal cross-functional partners.
This role is the backbone of the Production and Sourcing team, providing crucial support to ensure the smooth production of games and product launches. Your attention to detail, organization, and team-focused approach will be instrumental in driving our products forward.
HOW YOUâLL CONTRIBUTE:
- Supports Production and Sourcing Managers in ensuring trackers are updated and accurate and follows up on outstanding communication with vendors and updates to Wrike
- Receives, checks in, and distributes samples as necessary
- Sets up new projects using the predefined blueprint our project management softwareÂ
- Owns all administrative Production duties such creating and distributing meeting agendas, taking and distributing meeting notes, Google Drive filing and organization
- Other related duties as assigned
WHAT WE NEED:
- Knowledge of product development for consumer products (materials) with global vendors.
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving processes, timelines and deliverables
- Experience working with global factories and suppliers in a production environment is a plus
- G Suite, MS Office Suite, and Project Management Tool Software proficiency with the ability to learn new systems
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to assess when to escalate issues and how to communicate them
- Strong attention to detail and following established procedures
- Hybrid in-office position (4 days in-office, 1 day remote per week)
- Based in Los Angeles, CA
