Fluidra is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join the team at our CMP location in Newnan, GA.
This would be an onsite position however we do offer a hybrid work from home schedule along with every other Friday off.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The Strategic Sourcing team at Fluidra is responsible for selecting suppliers to support business needs, managing supplier relationships / performance, and meeting aggressive cost savings goals. This Sourcing Manager, CMP role will lead sourcing efforts at our CMP business unit as well as other sites and suppliers as assigned by their direct supervisor, the Director of Sourcing, Americas. The total portfolio managed will be greater than $50 million in spend in the US. Additionally, you will:

  • Identify, analyze and prioritize potential Sourcing opportunities
  • Understand the market dynamics for making hedge buy decisions for select commodities
  • Manage existing suppliers, new supplier selections, cost strategies and supplier negotiations
  • Lead or support sourcing initiatives using a rigorous sourcing methodology 
  • Work with Engineering and Quality to develop and qualify suppliers and/or material changes
  • Develop and gain approval for sourcing category strategies on assigned commodities
  • Work with Legal team to create or amend supplier agreements
  • Lead supplier selection and quoting activities to support new product development
  • Maintain tactical and strategic relationships with suppliers including working with Purchasing teams and suppliers to resolve delivery issues and approving cost changes
  • Use scorecards to evaluate supplier performance, and implement action plans to improve supplier performance where needed
  • Coordinating with global sourcing teams to share project details and impacts

 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • 6+ years’ overall in Supply Chain with minimum 5 years' experience in a Strategic Sourcing role
  • A proven track record of strong negotiations experience and skills
  • Experience managing sourcing responsibilities, including Make/Buy analyses 
  • Experience Managing commodities such as injection molding and electronics
  • Highly analytical with expertise calculating total delivered cost and capacity analyses
  • Successfully work in a fast-paced environment
  • High-level of proficiency in MS-Office Suite (Particularly Excel) 
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to work with people across the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), ability to summarize and present to a VP or SVP level audience
  • Oracle experience preferred
  • Advanced degree and / or Certified Supply Chain Professional preferred
  • Multi-lingual in English/Mandarin/Spanish is a plus
  • Experience working with international teams, particularly with Asian and European countries is preferred

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Supply Chain discipline
