Your role at Baxter

The Sourcing Manager for OEM is responsible for the global strategic sourcing activities for OEM category. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deploy the global sourcing strategy across business units. Work closely with key partners in both Corporate and Division cross-functional organizations including suppliers' leadership to develop effective supply base design to achieve top quartile supply chain performance with year over year cost reduction strategies, implementation plans and performance metrics on people development, innovation, cost, quality and fulfillment.

What you'll be doing

• Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships to ensure continuous performance expectations are met and year over year productivity targets are achieved by conducting proper supplier management techniques
• Lead key negotiations and contract development
• Work with global and divisional cross function team to identify business improvement opportunity with a target of 10% of total spend
• Lead VA/VE initiatives and drive project implementations
• Communicate and present opportunities and risks of the category to upper management, site management, and peers, and leverage resources internally and externally to deliver business outcomes
• Manage supply chain risk and product EOL to ensure supply chain continuity
• Partner with R&D and NPI sourcing and ensure flawless product launches
• Keep current on categories market, cost drivers and economic outlook to guide strategy
• Organize technical reviews with supplier and prepare RFQ for new and current business
• Perform data analysis on commodity spend, supplier performance and market intelligence

What you'll bring

• A minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain fields
• 5+ years of direct experience in global sourcing and supply management
• Shown success in negotiating contracts that deliver robust supply chain solutions and tangible cost savings on an annual basis
• Experience in leading VA/VE efforts and drive continues improvement
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

This position can be located remotely within the US, except for Colorado.
