Fiskars is searching for a Sourcing Specialist to join our amazing team in Middleton, WI!
About the Role:
The primary duty of the Sourcing Specialist is tactical management of the purchasing process and administrative support for specifically assigned commodities, materials and categories for local execution of production and promotional requirements. This is a learning level position within Global Sourcing and provides a starting point for development of sourcing fundamentals through on the job experience and practical training.

About the Role:
The primary duty of the Sourcing Specialist is tactical management of the purchasing process and administrative support for specifically assigned commodities, materials and categories for local execution of production and promotional requirements. This is a learning level position within Global Sourcing and provides a starting point for development of sourcing fundamentals through on the job experience and practical training.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop scheduled plans around tactical sourcing activity supporting specific project objectives on time and within budgetary expectations
- Manage Channel Marketing requirements for new and innovative merchandising tools, displays and point of purchase collateral and iterative versions of existing products through a regimented and standardized purchasing process
- Manage traffic of incoming of samples for consideration, inspection or packaging
- Upkeep of purchasing data base within JDE One World environment and Global Sourcing data management tool (Seivo at this time)
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams in support of essential common tactical goals
- Support direct import activity timelines and execution as needed
- Administrate Contract Life Management tools for North American Sourcing
- Manage traffic for art going out to overseas vendors and track return dates for scheduling
- Data base and report development as required
What You Can Bring to the Organization:
- Bachelor's degree (Operations Management or International Business)
- 2 years' experience in a supply chain function (planning, manufacturing, logistics, distribution); preferably in Consumer Products Good Industry
- Project and process management
- Ability to sustainably manage multiple priorities in a cross functional setting
