What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Sourcing Specialist who can do more for Mohawk's Flooring North America brands by sourcing and purchasing the highest-quality raw materials, while reducing cost and ensuring compliance.

This role will work closely with sourcing leadership, operations, planning and R&D to develop sourcing strategies and prepare for customer demand based on forecasting.

What you'll do:

• Identify import sources for raw materials, capable of meeting performance requirements and demand
• Solicit and evaluate suppliers and proposals including RFI, RFP, reverse auctions and other forms of negotiation
• Negotiate and measure lowest TCO (total cost of ownership) and CIU (cost in use) and formulate should-cost models for assigned commodities
• Own AP workflows for raw materials, PPV and cost forecasting

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field
• 2+ years of work experience in a manufacturing or distribution planning, operations or supply chain administrative position
• Flooring industry experience (preferred)
• Experience using and maintaining ERP systems for raw materials

• Exercising independent judgment and demonstrating solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules
• Diffusing conflict using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods while maintaining professionalism and adhering to corporate standards
