What You'll Do
As a member of Network for Good's Coaching team, you will help our software customers, both English and Spanish speaking, as they launch, optimize, execute and sustain their individual giving programs over the course of the year. We are looking for experienced and personable fundraisers from varied geographic locations with a proven record of raising individual gifts. These fundraisers should be comfortable using software and analyzing data. You will collaborate remotely with our small and mid-sized nonprofit customers who are using Network for Good's donor management system and personal coaching services. Your goal is to ensure their success with using our software to engage stakeholders and grow fundraising.
As a member of our professional services team, you will meet independently with a portfolio of customers for the purpose of guiding their fundraising by educating them on best practices for writing appeals, setting up giving pages, analyzing donor data, and guiding fundraising campaign strategy and execution. Additionally, you will work closely with our Sales, Success and Product teams to win business and hone our solutions to better fit the market.
This is a contract position paid on an hourly basis, dependent on the number of client assignments you receive. Current coaches have between 15 and 90 clients at any given time with 1-3 hours used per month per client.
We are looking for an amazing teammate who can:
- Slowly ramp up a portfolio of customers, each of whom will require 1-3 hours of coaching per month
- Work independently while also utilizing Network for Good best practices and resources to coach your customers to fundraising success
- Act as subject matter expert and consultant for individual fundraising, stewardship and our donor management software
- Develop customized fundraising strategy and plans for individual giving
- Help customers create and execute fundraising campaigns using our software, as well as social media
- Develop relationships with customers based upon delivering value to them
- Help hold customers accountable for executing against agreed upon plans
- Assist in service renewal and upselling additional services to customers
- Assist in the development of training materials and the education of new customers
- Gather and share insight about customer behavior and product feedback in order to fuel customer success and Network for Good's product development
- Perform other duties as assigned
Who You Are:
- Knowledgeable of a variety of nonprofit or philanthropic sectors. Ideal candidate will have a solid background in human services fundraising and also have experience with other types of missions, such as performing arts, animal welfare, LGBTQ+, minority-led, veteran, and faith-based
- Strong problem solving skills, some digital marketing experience and a love of data
- Experience with fundraising data migrations and knowledge of a variety of fundraising databases preferred
- Working knowledge of the Internet, web and mobile applications, and MS Office
- Strong communication skills and proven experience using those skills to craft engaging and effective fundraising solicitations
- Experience in coaching/consulting/teaching/mentoring and excellent listening skills and patience with the technologically challenged
- Entrepreneurial approach that builds and nurtures strong and lasting relationships both internally and externally
- Must be well organized and willing to regularly document the nature and scope of work being done with and for customers
- Minimum 5-15 years experience in fundraising, development, and/or nonprofit consulting
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience; CFRE preferred
- Spanish language proficiency required
- Located in Pacific or Mountain Time zones preferred
