Special Education Substitute Teacher

William’s School is a private non-profit school for children ages 2-22 with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or emotional/behavioral disorders. Experience working with behavioral challenges and non-verbal students preferred. Must be willing to deal with challenging behaviors that can include aggression. Job duties include: · Assisting in academic groups. · Assisting with managing student behaviors. · Preparing materials. · Leading small group lessons. · Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, engaging and welcoming classroom. Qualifications: · Must pass background check. · Energetic personality. Job Types: Temporary, Part-time Pay: $16.00 per hour Schedule: • Day shift • Monday to Friday Experience: • teacher assistant: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
