Special Procedures Technologist I

Job Summary: Performs radiographic procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and/or therapeutic intervention. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedure. Performs all delegated activities in accordance with approved policies and guidelines.

Qualifications: Graduate of accredited radiography program. Registered by ARRT in Radiology and Modality Advanced Level Certification within 9 months of hire date. Experienced radiographer with competency in special imaging technique demonstrating vascular structures and sterile technique is preferred. Considerable ability to accept new responsibilities as new equipment/examinations are introduced. Ability and desire to perform AIDET customer service skills for all Special Procedure Imaging patients is required. Ongoing participation in continuing education. Current BLS certification required.
