Specialist

Garda is looking to hire a Specialist to be a part of our Talent & Business Development Team based out of our Wayzata office. The focus of this role will be to support and participate in the design, implementation, and enhancement of strategic culture and talent initiatives across Garda’s global business. Those initiatives will be primarily focused on, but not limited to the following:

• Talent acquisition, alignment, and onboarding
• Employee engagement, development, and mentorship
• Reward and recognition programs
• Actions and activities to enhance employee communication and connectivity
• Improving efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes
• Building and maintaining tools for data analysis used across the Talent & Business Development team
• DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) action planning and execution

Qualifications & Desired Skills

• 4-year degree in Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Psychology, or similar field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with members of multiple business units
• Entrepreneurial spirit, problem solving skills, superb organizational skills, sound judgment, and a client-focused approach
• Intellectual curiosity and motivation to innovate and improve
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time sensitive team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
