Specialist

Description

The Specialist is responsible for supporting the setup, sales, and administration of TeachingBooks accounts. This includes the daily tasks of account support, data entry, intake and routing of questions as appropriate, and providing excellent customer service to increase partner use of TeachingBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of TeachingBooks and other OverDrive products and services, and clearly articulate our capabilities and advantages to current and prospective partners.
• Assist partners with questions and follow-up on product-related issues and requests. As part of this, support the TeachingBooks / OverDrive goal to build strong personal relationships with each partner.
• Follow and maintain processes to evaluate, respond, and route incoming phone calls, emails, and other partner support requests.
• Follow and maintain processes for account setup, trials, quotes, orders, invoices, and accounts receivable.
• Input and maintain data related to federal and state level contractual obligations in CRM and other recordkeeping systems.
• Develop strong customer service relationships with prospects and partners-including leading meetings to welcome new primary contacts.
• Complete inbound sales calls/emails and outbound email sequences with the primary goal of setting appointments for the
• Business Development team.
• Follow and maintain CRM processes to manage data about accounts, partners, and prospects.
• Follow and maintain processes to research, update, and clean data regarding our partners.
• Follow and maintain processes to facilitate a seamless transition from a partner prospect to a TeachingBooks account.
• Assist with trade show participation, preparation, and follow-up.

Necessary Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience (sales, sales support, marketing, customer service).
• Positive, proactive, organized person with a desire to help others by providing outstanding customer service.
• Self-motivated, with a desire to take the initiative, and collaborative approach.
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Well-organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Personable with a professional and team-oriented style.

Job Location:

This role will require you to be located in Madison, WI or Cleveland, OH
