This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Specialist, Budgeting and Analysis in India.

This role plays a key part in supporting financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis across complex clinical development and healthcare projects. You will work closely with cross-functional project teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance throughout project lifecycles. The position combines analytical rigor with stakeholder collaboration, helping translate operational activity into meaningful financial insights. You will contribute to contract support, revenue tracking, and project profitability analysis while ensuring compliance with internal financial standards and SOPs. The role is highly collaborative, involving interaction with project managers, finance teams, and business stakeholders in a matrix environment. It offers exposure to global clinical research operations and financial strategy in a mission-driven organization focused on improving healthcare outcomes. Accountabilities:

Support budgeting, financial analysis, and project financial management activities across assigned clinical and operational projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational financial standards.

  • Participate in budget development, pricing discussions, and budget review meetings for assigned projects and non-standard requests.
  • Create, review, and revise client and internal budgets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and commercial competitiveness.
  • Track and analyze financial performance, including revenue recognition, forecasting, profitability, and new business awards.
  • Support contract management activities, including statements of work, scope changes, and financial provisions.
  • Liaise with project teams, finance, and stakeholders to ensure timely approvals, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Assist in project financial setup, maintenance, and closure activities in line with SOPs and governance standards.
  • Provide financial reporting and insights to support business planning, account reviews, and decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to budgeting tools, templates, and financial processes.
  • Requirements:

    Strong financial analysis and budgeting expertise within a project-driven or regulated industry environment, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver accurate financial insights under tight deadlines.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
    • Minimum 3+ years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or project finance roles, ideally within CRO, pharma, biotech, or healthcare sectors.
    • Strong understanding of budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and revenue tracking.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong overall Microsoft Office skills.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a matrix environment.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
    • Knowledge of clinical research or regulated industry financial processes is an advantage.
    • Experience with financial or project management systems is a plus.
