Team Overview:
Data Operations department is seeking to appoint new manager to coordinate/manage work for variety of shifts in the Middle office. Current scope would include independent oversight of pricing master teams. This scope may grow in future with additional shift teams.
Your role:
- Provides oversight for multiple teams of employees responsible for conducting security pricing.
- Manage independently the performance of teams and sets area priorities.
- Manage independently relationships with assigned clients and resolves any escalated issues related to her/his teams.
- Manages complex databases, feeds, etc. and assist with more complex data sources.
- Provides guidance to teams managed to ensure that accounting records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Resolves escalated issues from team members.
- Provides guidance to teams on implementation of new policies to follow regulations.
- Acts as a point of contact for Client escalations.
- Communicates reports and accounting intricacies to clients.
- Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
- Leads working relationships with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports and ensure they accurately depict fund performance.
- Monitor data feeds and perform data scrubbing for the Data Management and Quantitative Analysis team.
- Contributes to the achievement of team objectives
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 to 8 years of total work experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience at managerial position.
- Experience in operations and/or client service will be advantage
- Experience in the financial industry preferred.
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree in quantitative analysis preferred.5-7 years experience preferred.
