The role of the Emerging Leader Program Specialist will be instrumental in the design and delivery of a seamless experience for Sonoco’s early career populations to ensure they develop the skills and capabilities most critical to our business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the delivery of an engaging, high-quality experience for Sonoco’s Emerging Leader Program (ELP) and Sonoco internship programs that develop the skills and capabilities most critical to our business strategy.
  • Work with HR Business Partners, and Business and Function stakeholders to understand program needs and raise awareness and understanding of program offerings.
  • Support the Early Career recruiting team with program branding, college recruiting strategies, and talking points related to the program experience.
  • Collaborate with, HR teams including Learning and Development, and Diversity and Inclusion, as well as external vendors, to build and continuously improve the learning experience.
  • Plan, execute, and support ELP program, activities, including onboarding, delivery of learning curriculum, and speaker engagements, both virtual and in-person.
  • Partner with internal and external facilitators to successfully plan and execute skill development sessions on-the-ground the ground support for in-person program elements as needed.
  • Support performance management and talent review planning and use the outcomes to review program needs.
  • Partner with People Analytics to measure and track progress against key mend-to-end
  • Manage end to end program planning including communications, logistics, and technical elements.
  • Operate as a key point of contact for program participants, managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage external vendors and Sonoco processes to support program needs.

This is a remote position with the preferred candidate located in Hartsville, SC.

Compensation:

Specialist I, Development, Recruiting & Learning: The annual base salary range for this role is from $59,440 to $66,870. 

Specialist II, Development, Recruiting & Learning: The annual base salary range for this role is from $65,440 to $73,620. 

Specialist III, Development, Recruiting & Learning: The annual base salary range for this role is from $80,320 to $90,360
