Specialist - Finance Shared Services
Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Specialist - Finance Shared Services performs computer data processing, clerical and other related functions
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve the function of RTM processor
- Assist fellow employees in general office duties
- Primary answerer of telephones
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Knowledgeable or familiar with legal terminology
- Able to accurately record and enter pertinent information into the legal database
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Ability to read and write proficiently to evaluate reports, correspondence and statistical information
- Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
- Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
- Ability to type 60 words per minute
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:
- Two (2) years of experience in Casino Cage, Credit, Collections or Pit Operations
- Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language
- Experience working in a similar resort setting
- Thorough working knowledge and understanding of casino cage, credit, collection or pit operations
