Job Description

Position Summary

Develops, maintains, and optimizes financial applications based on qualified business needs and documented business requirements. Works with Sr. Developer to analyze and understand requirements, build functional/technical design documentation, prototype solutions, and configure/deliver solutions that meet or exceed business requirements and enterprise quality standards. Accountable for end-to-end documentation, including business process mappings to technology solutions, data modelling, and financial application configuration models to support enterprise requirements.

Essential Job Functions

1. Enhance and repair financial applications based on documented business requirements. Work with Sr. Developers to understand and analyze financial application business requirements, document functional/technical specifications, and conduct unit testing. Adhere to enterprise policies and procedures related to software delivery. (40%)

2. Support financial application platform, modules and solutions. Thoroughly document all work progress and interactions in IT Service Management Tool; and effectively analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve financial application problems while adhering to incident, problem, and change management processes. Ensure appropriate escalations are done as needed. (30%)

3. Create and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, solution design specifications, and unit test plans/test conditions. Thoroughly understand business process and alignment to financial application functionality. (15%)

4. Analyze incidents, problems and requests and identify trends and solutions. Research new functionality and available configuration options and offer improvement opportunities. Maintain and enhance performance of financial applications as solutions/opportunities are identified. (15%)

Education

This position requires a(n) Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree

Additional degree(s) that are preferred for this position include:

Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree in Computer Science, MIS

Work Experience

Below is the required/preferred work experience for this position:

• 5-7 Years: IT - Required
• 3-4 Years: Financial Applications Support - Required
• 3-4 Years: AP, Treasury, General Ledger - Preferred
• 3-4 Years: MRI Property Management - Preferred
• 3-4 Years: FIS Integrity - Preferred

Note: 5-7 Years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position
