The Opportunity

Clarios is looking to add a dynamic, self-starting individual to our corporate communications team. We're looking for someone who can roll up his or her sleeves to support numerous internal and change initiatives as we continue to build an independent company. The right person has the energy, enthusiasm and resiliency to lead and work inside one of the world's oldest startup companies.

An Air Traffic Controller with a Creative Side

This role will work closely with the VP, Comms; regional communications leaders; and members of the our global brand marketing teams to help schedule and activate campaigns around the world. The role isn't just about checking boxes or managing calendars, it's about helping the team identity new ways to make the most of the content and activities we're planning around the world and identifying how and where we can come together to have greater impact.

Strategic Focus Areas

  • Lead Global Communications Council
  • Organize and lead Quarterly Global Marketing Council Meetings
  • Manage and coordinate global thought leadership opportunities
  • Publish weekly global company newsletter and track performance
  • Establish a global Marketing Communications Calendar

  • Manage performance metrics for communications programs and opportunities
  • Support efforts to modernize hourly employee communications with regional teams. Activities may include deployment of Yammer, digital screens and texting communications tools.
  • Closely collaborate with the Dir, External Communications to plan and organize social media and though leadership campaigns
  • In partnership with HR, develop internal metrics to measure employee sentiment and engagement

Skills, experience and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or other related field.
  • 6+ years of communications experience.
  • Strong project management skills and expertise.
  • Successful, demonstrated track record of working with senior leaders and or functions to help achieve business goals and results.
  • Critical thinker capable of synthesizing complex ideas and creating audience-relevant strategies.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to use metrics to make informed decisions.

  • Ability to work across boundaries in matrixed organization to develop strong relationships and deliver results.
  • Demonstrated process orientation/capability.
  • Superior written, editorial and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Currenly open to candidates that can work a Hybrid model out of the Greater Milwaukee, WI market.
