Specialist (Quality Control - CQC)

This position is part of the Custom QC department located in Coralville, IA and will be onsite. Working hours will be Monday-Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Transfer QC methods and technical procedures from development and R&D groups for QC testing and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor associates.
• Troubleshoots and corrects problems that may occur during daily operations using technical expertise.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required. (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred).
• 3 years of applicable lab experience.
• Statistics and data analysis

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• PCR, qPCR, Next Generation Sequencing, Enzymatics
• Taking ownership in advancing projects
• Quality Control
