This position is on Enterprise Profile Management team in the Enterprise Internet & Mobility (EIM) BSA. The team supports an application suite that provides several foundational digital capabilities that are shared across all digital channels (web, mobile, chat, voice) and involves several mission critical applications including Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), Customer Account Management (CAM), Preference Center, Customer Online Account Support Tool (COAST), and Registration By Proxy (RBP). EPM Applications are supported by 3 agile development lines that are focused on modernizing the existing capabilities as well as building new, innovative solutions using latest technologies. This is an Individual Contributor role that would help lead Testing efforts on an EPM line. The team is responsible for defining and building the solutions that will retire our legacy applications and build out the next generation of digital solutions.

As a Software Engineer Test Automation Developer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you'll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications. You will also plan and conduct a wide range of software quality tests and analyzes to ensure all application products and services meet organizational standards aligned to their quality management approach, as well as end-user requirements. All Engineers perform quality planning, quality design and execution. You will focus on a blend of skills enabling efficient execution of risk-based testing, test automation, Defect metrics and analysis, performance testing, test data management, test environment management, continuous integration and continuous deployment all improving speed to delivery for our business partners.

Compensation Grade F5

This role can be filled remotely (anywhere in the USA) or in a hybrid capacity, collaborating in office with the team a few days every other week. Subject to change.

  • Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards in an agile environment.

  • Manages medium to large project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to a Technology Manager/Director.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Completion of undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.

Experience: Four or more years of analysis and technology experience.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle. Proven ability to tackle complex business and development problems. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager's leader and Human Resources Business Partner.
