Job Summary
Work as part of a DevOps team, leverage specialist analysis & testing tools, frameworks, techniques and practices to elicit, define and organize business requirements. Translate & document business requirements into user stories & specifications (Full Stack, Cross System) detailing integration points, business & associated risk / opportunities to be realised. And following this analysis, work collaboratively within squads during design & delivery activity including assuming responsibility for manual application testing processes, frameworks & outcomes

CIB Payments Technology - Core Banking Multi-Currency is looking for a passionate, motivated and engaged Solution/System Analyst.
We are a legacy application evolving to more modern applications, our area provides forex payments capabilities through various systems and processes.
As a team we continuously strive to streamline our processes and ways of working, and creating room for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis (including Business Case)
Solution Design (within DevOps Context)
- Solution Delivery & Testing (manual)
Technical Skills and Experience required:
- Min 5 year business & systems analysis experience in a tech environment
- Experience in software and business analysis and tools
- Proficiency in SQLÂ for data querying and manipulation
- Knowledge of data modeling and database schemas
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing
- Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in Agile Methodology & working embedded within an Agile team / teams
- Banking domain experience, preferred.
- Expertise in Systems Design & Integration, Business Continuity Management & Disaster Recovery
Payment Systems Knowledge beneficial:
- Understand ISOÂ standards related to financial transactions.
- Familiarity with Swift payments and messaging protocols.
Additional Skills required:
- Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure):
- Kubernetes and Containerization (Docker):
Docker experience for containerization and deployment is crucial as well.
- Microservices Architecture:
- Microservices architecture, candidates should have experience designing, building, and deploying microservices. Understanding inter-service communication, service discovery, and deployment pipelines is important. Knowledge of tools for monitoring and maintaining microservices like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack is a plus.
- Programming Languages:
Proficiency in languages commonly used in cloud-native environments, such as Python, Java, or Scala, is essential.
- API Development and Integration:
skilled in creating and consuming RESTful and potentially GraphQL APIs.
Experience in secure API design, API gateways, and working with authentication methods like OAuth2 is important.
- Event-Driven Architecture:
Familiarity with event-driven systems and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) for handling asynchronous tasks and real-time data processing.
- SQL and Distributed Databases:
Experience with databases like, MongoDB, SQLto work with large, distributed datasets. Understanding of database scaling, replication, and handling transactions in distributed environments.
- DevOps and CI/CD: Since cloud-native development relies heavily on continuous integration and delivery, developers should have hands-on experience with DevOps practices. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI to automate the build and deployment pipelines.
- Security and Compliance:
Security is paramount. Candidates should have knowledge of cloud security best practices, data encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards like PCI-DSS and GDPR.
