Job Description
NCQA is hiring a Specialist, Talent & Organizational Development (T&OD) to join our HR team.
The T&OD Specialist is responsible for planning and coordinating organizational development projects (30%), designing, developing and delivering in-person, virtual and online learning solutions (30%) and administering the Learning Management System (LMS) and SharePoint site (30%). This individual is also expected to own and drive their own professional development (10%).
This is a dynamic role for a utility player that requires being resourceful, working autonomously and within a team, following through on assigned tasks and seeing them to completion, and leveraging and learning technical skills to work in and promote a hybrid environment.
This is a hybrid role with the ability to work remotely most of the time but the ability to come into our DC office as needed (likely on a monthly basis).

Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage and coordinate workshop logistics including but not limited to scheduling meetings and resources and setting up virtual whiteboards (or conference rooms if needed).
- Leverage instructional design and visual design principles to transform content into digestible and engaging materials for in-person or virtual delivery.
- Help design engaging and creative activities and materials for virtual (or in person) team effectiveness sessions.
- Develop interactive and responsive online solutions such as videos and interactive documents or courses.
- Deliver and facilitate workshops (in person and virtual) as needed.
- Serve as the LMS Administrator by setting up journeys, courses and classes in the LMS. This also involves retrieving reports as well as following up on open assignments and leading users/content audits.
- Lead the logistics related to T&OD programs such mentoring, emerging leaders and more.
- Maintain of the T&OD SharePoint page/content.
- Prepares presentations decks, spreadsheet analyses and other documents to present new concepts and findings.
- Participate in collaborative sessions and other internal training efforts to brainstorm on process improvement efforts and improve industry and company knowledge and skills.
- May coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Administer talent surveys.
- Track and report projects statuses via established department dashboard tools.
- Help design employee engagement programs.
- Manage our department inbox and address any T&OD questions.
- Maintains a positive and open-minded demeanor.
- Documents processes, procedures for internal department usage and as job aids for internal customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of experience designing and delivering in-person, virtual and online training
- Basic multi-media experience
- Instructional design skills
- Visual design skills
- Experience with Learning Management Systems or HR Information Management Systems
- Presentation skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Project management skills: ability to manage projects to completion
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the Microsoft office products (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as SharePoint
- Knowledge of Articulate Storyline (e-learning), Camtasia (video editing) and graphic editing software
- Ability to learn new software, methods and approaches
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Pleasant demeanor and passionate about the work
- Ability to maintain confidential information
