Specialist, Technology and Resource Management
Job Description
Amplify's Training & Enablement organization is seeking a Specialist, Technology and Resource Management responsible for the operational and organizational management of a centralized, company-wide learning management system (LMS). The person in this role will ensure the content, administration, and features of the LMS align with our business goals, specifically focused on ease of use, and relevant, up-to-date, easy to find training for Amplify employees.
The Specialist, Technology and Resource Management reports to the Director, Technology and Resource Management, and will be an integral part of the new Training & Enablement organization, supporting efforts to ensure that all Amplify employees have access to training and assets needed to optimize effectiveness and efficiency in their roles. This role will collaborate with multiple department leaders to ensure the training provided in the platform and the organizational layout meet the needs of the business. This role will also be instrumental in supporting projects and activities within the Training & Enablement team.
The best candidate for this role can take visions and concepts and lead or assist in the organizational development of the learning management system, has experience with web-based instruction and online learning platforms, and possesses a strong sense of detail in leading administrative and reporting-related duties to the platform's oversight.
Responsibilities of the Specialist, Technology and Resource Management:
- Build, maintain, and deploy courses, curriculum, and certifications within Amplify's Learning Management System
- Obtain a deep understanding of the configuration of the LMS and how it can be leveraged to meet and enhance goals and objectives
- Prepare reports analyzing the effectiveness of the platform, working with key stakeholders across departments to optimize usage and ease of use
- Provide administrative and technical support for the enablement platform as needed
- Additional related projects to be assigned as needed
Basic Qualifications of the Specialist, Technology and Resource Management:
- BA/BS degree in Education, Business, Systems or a related field
- 2+ years of learning management system course development plus maintenance/administration of the LMS system
- 2+ years of work experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
- 2+ years of work experience in a sales, operations, or education role
- Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with shared responsibilities
- Exceptional organizational and written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite experience
Preferred Qualifications of the Specialist, Technology and Resource Management:
- 2+ years of demonstrated project management experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience overseeing a learning management system
- Proficiency in creating and editing technical documentation related to system support
- Interest in enhancing industry and product knowledge through self-study, training, and experience
What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $67,000 - $80,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
