The Crown Is Yours
As a Trading Compliance Specialist, you will work closely with our Trading, Sportsbook, and Regulatory Operations teams to ensure DraftKings complies with each jurisdiction's regulatory requirements. In this role, you'll prepare and maintain the multi-state catalogs by ensuring the information documented is accurate and precise, allowing various departments clear and concise visibility. You will be working closely with regulators in multiple jurisdictions on new sports wagering requests. Additionally, you will be the owner of DraftKings' house rules and will be responsible for regulatory approval.

As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $69,600.00 - $104,400.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What you'll do as a Trading Compliance Specialist
- Maintain strong communication with the Trading Operations team to gain proper regulatory approvals for new trading markets. Additionally, assisting in enhancing the knowledge and awareness of any regulatory requirements by providing accurate information to Trading Operations.
- Prepare any Trading related data requests from regulators.
- Act as subject matter expert in the company for any Trading or Regulatory related questions.
- Ensure knowledge of regulatory requirements are adequately maintained and relevant to the latest changes by the regulators.
- Align with the Trading Operations Team to ensure proper processes are followed along with our internal operations processes.
- Develop relationships with regulators to ensure new sports wagering content are properly approved, by providing detail information.
- Work closely with multiple teams to ensure the House Rules are properly updated and approved by regulators.
What you'll bring:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills with a deep knowledge of and passion for sports.
- Understanding of any gaming regulatory requirements and implications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate critical business information quickly and effectively.
- Keen attention to detail and well-organized.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is required. Additional languages will be considered an asset.
