Specialized Worker - MIG & Flux-Cored Welder Location : Adkins, TXPay : $20.00 per hourType : Full-Time - W-2 About the RoleTop Metal Solutions LLC is looking for experienced MIG and Flux-Cored Welders to join our growing fabrication team in Adkins, TX. This is a hands-on position for skilled welders who take pride in their craft, work safely, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities•⁠ ⁠Perform high-quality MIG and Flux-Cored welding in flat and vertical positions.•⁠ ⁠Work with materials ranging from 11 gauge up to 1" thick.•⁠ ⁠Read and interpret welding symbols and basic blueprints.•⁠ ⁠Identify and correct common weld defects such as porosity or lack of fusion.•⁠ ⁠Set up, adjust, and operate welding machines (Millermatic 211, 252, 255).•⁠ ⁠Follow OSHA-based safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Required Qualifications•⁠ ⁠Authorization to work in the United States (valid work permit or status required).•⁠ ⁠Proven experience in metal fabrication or welding shop environments.•⁠ ⁠Ability to read and understand basic fabrication drawings.•⁠ ⁠Proficiency with MIG and Flux-Cored welding machines and related equipment.•⁠ ⁠Valid SSN or ITIN with valid work authorization, government-issued ID, and a U.S. bank account.•⁠ ⁠Ability to work effectively in a primarily Spanish-speaking environment.•⁠ ⁠Willingness to obtain AWS D1.1 and/or D1.3 certifications in the future (company-supported at later stages). Physical Requirements•⁠ ⁠Lift up to 70 lbs without assistance.•⁠ ⁠Stand and weld for extended periods.•⁠ ⁠Work in environments with heat, dust, or noise.•⁠ ⁠Consistent use of PPE as required by OSHA standards.
