Sports Director

KVAL/KMTR is seeking a dynamic Sports Director for the hometown of the Oregon Ducks! In this role, you will lead our Sports Department in covering Oregon and Oregon State for our broadcast and digital platforms, as well as maintain an active presence on our social media. Your responsibilities will include anchoring, reporting, shooting and editing sports stories, along with coordinating coverage with our News Department.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong writing skills
• Sharp video shooting and editing skills
• Great communication skills
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record

Requirements and Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of sports anchoring and reporting experience
• Live commercial television experience
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field preferred
