Summary / Role Purpose

The DevOps Intern helps to support the development of software products, processes, and supporting systems. In this role, the DevOps Intern will collaborate with a team of expert professionals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs basicDevOpsactivities for ANSYS Fluids software products
• Worksin a collaborative manner with members of the software development, infrastructure and testing teams
• Works with ITto maintainDevOps infrastructure
• Operates under direct supervision with work subject to frequent review by more experienced staff or DevOps Manager

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

• Current student seeking a BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Linux shell scripting, Windows batch scripting and Perl)
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming
• Any experience with working on any opensource/third-party software
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
