The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is an independent nonprofit organization authorized by Congress in 2010. Its mission is to fund research that will provide patients, their caregivers and clinicians with the evidence-based information needed to make better-informed healthcare decisions. Position Summary

The intern's contributions to the Finance & Administration team will create and update comprehensive Financial Compliance Data trackers.

The Finance & Administration department is seeking an intern who will have the opportunity to:

• Learn to use Excel, SharePoint, and Asana to track data.
• Understand the data coming out of Financial Compliance Reviews and other initiatives.
• Brainstorm and implement ways to efficiently track and present financial compliance data.

Pay Range and Employment Status:

Interns shall be classified as temporary employees who are hired as interim replacements, to temporarily supplement the workforce, or to assist in the completion of a specific project and who are temporarily scheduled to work for a limited duration. Employment beyond any initially stated period does not in any way imply a change in employment status. Temporary workers are not eligible for PCORI benefits.

• Bachelor's hourly pay: $17.50
• Master's and above hourly pay: $20.00

Required Experience

Ideal candidates will be pursuing their undergraduate or postgraduate education in Accounting, Finance, Computer Information Systems, or related fields of study.

Experience working with large amounts of data, preferably accounting data, and strong use of Microsoft Excel.
