Primary Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for the design, construction, testing, optimization, and operational support of Compliance Analytics initiatives. The duties of the position include the following:
  • Define reporting strategies in order to optimize the use of enterprise data to effectively meet the organizations business objectives
  • Evaluate and make recommendations related to reporting components utilized in the enterprise data warehouse and overall information delivery solution.
  • Participate with business analysts to gather requirements, produce technical specifications in a MS SQL Server environment performing all SDLC phases related to the BI application environment.
  • Create reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); write complex SQL queries against SQL server database to validate the reports; and provide performance tuning and maintenance of existing reports/cubes.
  • Participate in the definition of the database requirements; analyze existing models and reports in order to improve their efficiency and resolve technical problems.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence (Bl) methodologies including those requiring complex SQL coding to ensure proper visualization and presentation of enterprise data to satisfy analytical, decision support, and operational reporting needs of the business community.
  • Function as a member of a larger team and is responsible for translating business and functional requirements into detailed technical designs and the delivery of reporting solutions according to specification.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or related field strongly preferred
  • 3+ years in research, healthcare analytics, business analytics or similar work experience strongly preferred
  • SQL and SSRS experience required
  • Experience managing and working with big data sets strongly preferred
  • Experience with Healthcare data, Claims, and CMS Specifications for Universes is ideal
  • Solid research skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Azure databricks, SAS, MicroStrategy, Tableau, SSIS, or SAS is ideal but not required
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other analysts and advisors

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 70,400 - 117,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
