Senior Strategic Account Executive (Growth)

At Skillsoft, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Solution Account Executive to join our team. As a company, we are committed to democratizing learning and helping individuals unleash their edge. As a Solution Executive, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of our current Strategic Account footprint.

 

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

 

  • As a Senior Strategic Account Executive , you will be responsible for partnering with Sales Leaders and positioning all Skillsoft solutions to corporate decision makers to meet and exceed revenue goals and representing a solution line(s) with key competitive differentiators.
  • Responsible for partnering with Sales leaders on strategic plans and objectives to drive desired business growth within current Strategic Accounts, partnering with related sales, marketing, and support resources in the successful advancement of critical opportunities and market penetration.
  • Guide account teams on short/long-term strategy with a focus on maintaining and growing revenue within existing customers and supporting new business opportunities.
  • Assist the account team to outline measurable and defined business objectives and goals with timelines related to revenue and growth of whitespace.
  • Ensure that the company's total resource is delivered and leveraged in a way that satisfies customer requirements and supports the objectives of the account strategy.
  • skilled at demonstrating software and speaking the language of corporate buyers, able to collaborate and leverage subject matter expertise in a matrixed sales environment.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency, be aggressive, competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude.
  • Negotiate effectively based on value and time to close, understand complex client requirements, and be able to clearly articulate the company's offerings to develop solutions to meet those requirements.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of successful Enterprise solution sales experience and a successful history of Strategic Account and/or Key Account sales at the C suite level.
  • Ability to collaborate and leverage subject matter expertise in a matrixed sales environment.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency, be aggressive, competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude.
  • Negotiate effectively based on value and time to close.
  • Ability to understand complex client requirements and to clearly articulate the company’s offerings to develop solutions to meet those requirements at the C level.

 

Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be approximately $170,000k annualized with average on target earnings including commissions of approximately $340,000k annually. 

 

We also offer full benefits. 

The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
