Position Summary

Everbridge is building a climate resilience service to enable customers to manage climate uncertainty with greater confidence. As the Climate Resilience Sales Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of this team by identifying and developing new business opportunities in collaboration with our broader sales team, building strong customer relationships, and closing deals. This is remote position that can be based anywhere in the U.S.

What you'll bring:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels, including industry events, working with our broader sales team and partners.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with clients and prospects, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our climate risk, resilience, and adaptation services, including consulting and SaaS offerings.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales performance, prepare accurate forecasts, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer journey.

What you'll do:

  • Minimum 5 years in sales and 1-3 years of experience in sales within the climate risk, resilience, and/or adaptation space.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong understanding of climate risk management and SaaS solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience selling to enterprise-level clients.
  • Knowledge of climate risk and resilience policy & trends.
  • Experience with sales enablement and business development.
