About the opportunity:
Northspyre is looking for a Sr. Account Manager to join our fast-growing venture-backed start-up team. The Sr. The Account Manager will be responsible for building customer relationships and proactively identifying opportunities where key accounts can get business value, results and return on investment with Northspyre.Â
As a Sr. Account Manager, you will bring 2+ years of customer facing experience in account management or sales or client facing-account driven real estate service firms. You are highly driven and you are able to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders on customer accounts through strategic consultation and working cross-functionally with other members of the Northspyre team.
Responsibilities
- Provide the very best experience that the customer has ever had with a software company or other vendor.
- Serve as a thought-partner and high level business partner to senior leaders on accounts, helping them to successfully roll out, implement and expand Northspyre across their organization.
- Track key metrics for account progress ensuring that stakeholders are aware of key results and that we (Northspyre) are aware of their goals and expectations.
- Build and lay-out customized plans suited to minimizing risk for downsell and churn, and maximizing possibilities for account expansion and upsell opportunities.Â
- Lead user facing meetings both in person and through video chat
- Monitor and interpret product usage data and key account metrics
- Build out processes and strategies to lay the foundation for a scalable, sustainable account management organization within Northspyre’s broader Customer Success mission.
- Work with Northspyre real estate domain experts, implementation team, and customer support to guide organizational change management and technology adoption by traditional real estate companies.
Must Haves
- 2+ years of full-time experience in enterprise level client-facing work.
- At least 5+ years of full-time work experience post-bachelors degree.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to lead complex (and sometimes uncomfortable) conversations in a highly consultative proactive manner.
- You must have no fear of picking up the phone every day and calling customers as-needed (even if the call is not scheduled). If this makes you uneasy, this role might not be a good fit.Â
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong familiarity with key software as a service metric (SaaS) and account management practices
- A professional, confident and collaborative personality; an adept client relationship manager, capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to work long but fulfilling 11-13 hour days
Nice to Haves
- Hubspot experience
- Experience in account management or sales at a software or technology company selling a complex, technical product.
- Operations savvy mindset, with an ability to identify and eliminate process friction while continuing to build scalable processes
- Strong organizational skills
- Project management experience
