Overview
As a Senior Accountant with the Technology Accounting Department, you will perform general ledger journal entries related to product revenue and cost, vendor rebates, and customer fees accruals and deferrals, reconciliations, analysis and research, identity and resolve issues, and complete documentation and reporting.

YOUR IMPACT
The essential functions of this position include:
- Prepare and review monthly/quarterly journal entries
- Reconcile and analyze multiple complex general ledger accounts
- Communicate with Operations and Sales regarding new customer and vendor contracts and projects setup to ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition
- Independently identify and resolve issues as they occur
- Assist with the preparation of internal and external reports, consolidated Financial Statements
- Update documentation of internal controls and accounting processes
- Interface with, and provide information to, internal and external auditors
- Stay current on emerging technical issues, in particular those that impact ePlus
- Perform other duties, as requested, in order to meet department goals and objectives
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent experience
- CPA certification preferred but not required
- 4-5 years of experience in the GL Accounting
- Experience with Great Plains software preferred but not required
- Experience with a public accounting firm or large corporate experience preferred
- A highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work alone on various analytical issues and form independent conclusions
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Adaptable to different computer environments
- Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prepared to put in additional hours, as required, to complete tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
POSITION SPECIFICS
The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $85,000 and $100,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
