Job Summary:

Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, etc. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Supports the Company's external reporting process by working with various stakeholders to prepare quarterly and annual financial statements along with the related disclosures and MD&A in compliance with U.S. GAAP. May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform accounting functions, which includes the preparation of journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations, for complex accounting matters including stock-based compensation.
  • Prepare and assist with the Company's external SEC reporting requirements, including the quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Participate in development and maintenance of the Company's accounting policies and Sarbanes-Oxley documentation.
  • Prepare regulatory reporting financial information.
  • Interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders
  • Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations
  • Review, track, and maintain information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other accounting regulations.
  • Complete special accounting projects assigned by management.
  • Provide internal and external audit deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • CPA preferred, but not required.
  • 4+ years related experience.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheets.
  • Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility over time.
  • Strong work ethic.

Work Environment:

  • Standard work environment
  • Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
