Job Summary

The Senior Accountant, Accounting Operations position assists Controller in monthly financial close. This position is responsible for Accounts Payable, Escheat, Fixed Assets and Intangibles. Also, responsible for Workday recurring task support (i.e., month end close activities). Support Finance projects as needed.

**This role is hybrid requiring a weekly schedule of 3 days in office & 2 days remote**

**Candidates must live within 250 miles of Lake Forest, IL**

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 to 5 years of related experience.
• Must have strong accounting skills
• Must possess strong customer service skills, including timely responses, communication to business partner regarding prioritization of multiple projects/tasks, clear explanation of accounting/expense items, and the ability to help the business partner understand their expense metrics
• Strong analytical, problem solving, time management, prioritization, organization, and adaptability skills.
• Ability to resolve issues while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Must be proficient in MS Office, especially EXCEL.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Prior Workday experience
• CPA

The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan.
