Sr. Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant Location:on-site North Dallas/Addison area Pay Range:hr. $55 to $60 based in experience Jefferson Wells is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join our team on-site for a 9-month contract with potential possible hire. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards for retail/wholesale or manufacturing/distribution. Responsibilities: • Performs general accounting, maintains the general ledger, deferred revenue, and other related duties in the accounting department. • Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and variance analysis. Financial statements and reports, and Budgeting and forecasting Requirements: • 7+ years of accounting experience with extensive knowledge of general financial accounting within the manufacturer and distributor industry for $950M revenue • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred. • Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel capabilities (No macros), any large ERP system • Highly detail oriented, determined, collaborative, and organized in work with strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Public accounting experience with reviewing others’ work and preparing audit schedules.
