Job Description

What Your Impact Will Be:

• Participating in month-end closing, including analyzing the profit and loss account and balance sheet, preparing accounting entries, carrying out monthly account reconciliations and preparing management reports.

• Analyzing variances (year vs PY, year vs Fcst, quarter vs quarter), investigating material variances and presenting explanations to management in a clear and concise format

• Preparing and posting complex accounting entries, such as leases under IFRS 16, intercompany prepayments, etc.

• Calculating direct taxes: Lalur and deferred taxes

• Participating in systems integration activities, including data and process validation

• Participating in the year-end audit of the financial statements, including writing disclosure notes, obtaining audit support and answering questions from the auditors.

• Working with different teams in the company, such as tax, treasury and FP&A

• Supporting multiple ad-hoc tasks, including the creation of new reports, reconciliations and processes to improve the integrity of financial information

• Evaluating internal controls, including risk assessments and analysis of risk areas

• Assisting in the design and preparation of department budgets for review by management

• Preparation and delivery of ECD, ECF and IBGE Research

• Participate in the month end close including, analisis of P&L and Balance Sheet, preparing journal entries, performing monthly account reconciliations, and preparing management reports.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, BigFour is a plus (PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
• Autonomy, leadership and strong analytical skills
• Experience in reconciliation, analisys, accruals, IFRS 16, financial reports, Intercompany transactions.
• Experience with direct taxes
• Strong communication skills
• Hands on - Pro Active
• Analytical and Good team player
• Knowledge in ECD and ECF
• Degree in Accounting, MBA is a plus
• CRC designation
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Be able to communicated in English, have English meetings, take English courses, writte
