The Senior Accountant will support the Cost Accounting function within the Phoenix RFC (Regional Finance Center) organization.

The Senior Accountant role at Honeywell, part of the Honeywell's Finance Rotational Leadership program. The roles in this program will be offered targeted training and mentorship to support learning and exposure across various financial disciplines and Honeywell processes. Each step of the program will offer development experiences with the intent to offer career progression within the Honeywell Finance organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support multiple repair sites within Aerospace.
• Prepare month end accounting entries and account reconciliations.
• Perform quarterly reserve analysis, including but not limited E&O
• Ensure the integrity of inventory, cost, and related balances in the GL.
• Support the annual material standard and burden rate setting process.
• Support the annual Balance Sheet Review Process (BSR), SOX, and Audit (External and Internal) requirements.
• Prepare schedules for annual income tax and property tax packages.
• Support site with annual inventory, physical inventory reports and preparation of inventory waivers
• Drive process improvements.
• Work closely with other team members in standardization of monthly processes, providing guidance, support and direction as needed for completing activities.
• Other activities as assigned.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of directly related accounting/financial analysis experience
• 1+ years of experience in a Big 7 Consulting firm
