JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary: Process payroll /data integration within timekeeping system and complete daily, weekly, and monthly payroll / labor reconciliations. Provide salary hours for Payroll overtime processing. Complete purchase burden accruals and semi-monthly estimates.
Specific Duties:
- Payroll processing on Mondays. (Provide hourly and weekly salary workforce hours to Payroll by the scheduled deadlines).
- Payroll reconciliations performed each week (for hourly payroll). (Generate reports from ADP Global View).
- Daily labor reporting for management.
- Provide salary hours for Payroll semi-monthly overtime processing (by scheduled deadlines).
- Prepare monthly journal entries during the month end close process.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations (by scheduled deadlines).
- Work with supervisors and Human Resources to update and monitor ADP Etime (labor reporting system). Clear exceptions (red flags).
- Analyze accounts and report purchase burden spending for the plant.
- Work with plant buyers to monitor purchase burden spending and payments to vendors.
- Create reports / estimates for plant controller for forecasting purposes.
- Monthly bonus tracking and payouts.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree (a major in Accounting/Finance preferred)
- 1+ Years' Experience in Payroll / Accounting
- Strong computer skills including Excel.
- Experience with SAP and ADP preferred.
- Needs to be self-driven, team oriented, good communication skills, and professional.
