Job Description
Seeking a Sr AD/Azure Active Directory Engineer. This role is responsible for AD architecture, engineering and implementation of Active Directory with primary focus on Azure Active Directory.
The ideal candidate has at least 7+ years of experience supporting directory services in a hybrid global environment consisting of multiple domains. Must have significant experience with Azure Active Directory, modern authentication, legacy authentication, Microsoft Windows Server, and related technologies.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance enterprise Azure Active Directory engineering standards for a multi-site organization, including operating system and authentication protocols.
- Diagnose Windows Server platform in issues in complex, business critical environments.
- Provide Tier 3 support for Directory Services to include Certificate Services, Clustering, etc.
- Design and architect new systems and enhancements to existing infrastructure.
- Produce basic project plans, participate in root cause analysis and close associated problem tasks
- Develop and enhance enterprise Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory engineering standards for a multi-site organization, including operating system and authentication protocols.
- Develop technical partnerships with key Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and Operations teams.
- Ability to work in a high change high stress environment
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Possess Professional Certifications - ITIL, Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) etc.
Required Skills
- Experience with Azure Active Directory and related technologies, preferably in an engineering capacity, including design of infrastructure and integration into new and existing systems.
- Strong functional engineering group experience, preferably in the Financial/Insurance services sector.
- Experience modernizing traditional Active Directory through migration to Azure AD and Azure ADDS
- Strong knowledge of LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth, SAML, SCIM, OpenID
- Strong knowledge implementing Azure AD Domain Services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Automation and scripting, including PowerShell
- Experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Connect as it relates to Office 365 and Azure.
- Ability to produce detailed technical documentation and server architecture diagrams.
- Experience with Azure Active Directory SSO and modern authentication products such as SAML, OAuth, and WS-Fed.
- Experience with Azure Graph API
- Experience with Quest tools such as GPOadmin, RMAD and QMM

• For positions based in Jersey City, the base salary range is $93,000-$126,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
