We are seeking a senior advanced electrical design engineer to be part of a new team exhibiting the entrepreneurial mindset. We are looking for a creative colleague who wants to be part of a team and eager to share their wealth of knowledge while learning from others. "It can't be done" violates the core of their being. This will be a person who is motivated by learning and a risk taker. In simple terms, you will love being on this team if being satisfied riding the wave is not in your vocabulary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for industrial power circuit configuration.
• Responsible for development of control code
• Lead and oversee the installation of the system
• Requirements development
• Define and implement safety measures
• Cross collaboration with the mechanical and software engineers to ensure a cohesive system.
• Eloquently communicate and document findings.
• Work collaboratively with software to assess and address tradeoffs.

Due to compliance with U.S.export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which isdefined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected statusin the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain anexport authorization".

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics. In lieu of degree, 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience

WE VALUE:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in power.
• Extensive experience with design of power electronic systems.
• Experience in installation of industrial power systems.
• Experience in high powered DC power distribution.
• Experience with creating technical documentation
• Customer interaction or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
• Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
• Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
