We are seeking a senior advanced embedded engineer to be part of a new team exhibiting the entrepreneurial mindset. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and Development of ARM microcontroller architecture.
  • Implementation of motor control firmware
  • Responsible for designing and implementing communication interfaces such as CAN Bus and USB.
  • Optimization of state machines
  • Steer the prototyping, testing, and validating of the electrical configuration.
  • Cross collaboration with hardware, mechanical and software engineers to ensure a cohesive system.
  • Eloquently communicate and document findings.
  • Work collaboratively with software to assess and address tradeoffs.

Due to compliance with U.S.export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which isdefined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected statusin the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain anexport authorization".

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics. In lieu of a degree, 8 or more years of relevant experience may suffice.
  • 8+ years of embedded engineering experience

WE VALUE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Hands on experience of development on 32-bit controller-based Firmware Systems
  • Programming in C, C++, and Python
  • Expertise in debugging or guiding team on low level firmware e.g., SPI, I2C

    Electrical/power design experience
  • Advanced Electrical experience in designing, building, and testing a prototype
  • Customer interaction or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in embedded software architectures
  • Experience with Altium
  • Experience with ZMQ
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Colleagues who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
  • Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
