Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex aircraft systems within Honeywell Aero. You will be integral in creating solutions that fly on the worlds most specialized military aircraft. From understanding the needs of a variety of customers to delivering the integrated solutions, you will have ownership across the entire lifecycle of the system. You will work across disciplines within the Military Avionics business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

We are currently looking for an Sr Advanced Hardware Engineer in our Phoenix, AZ facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute electrical circuit design project tasks
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems/failures uncovered by circuit card tests
• Design investigations and document findings
• Support estimation efforts for customer proposals
• Generate Bill Of Materials (BOMs) for Printed Board Assemblies (PBAs)
• Support digital and analog redesigns in support of continuous improvement and obsolescence

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 5+ years of experience in related field
• US Citizenship

WE VALUE

• Experience with MentorGraphix DxDesigner or equivalent circuit design tool set
• Ability to produce white papers to document investigation findings, test results, and outcomes of trade studies
• Digital and analog circuit design experience including skilled use of standard lab equipment (meters, probes, etc.)
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
• Ability to teach, mentor, and develop subject matter expertise in others
• Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiences
• Effectively prioritizes tasks and quickly adapts to changes
• Aerospace Engineering experience preferred
