The Commercial Integrated Care Analytics team supports DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (DaVita IKC). DaVita IKC is the renal population health management division of DaVita serving approximately 40,000 end stage renal disease (ESRD) and late stage chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients across the U.S. A key component of DaVita's integrated care strategy is our healthcare analytics team, responsible for developing and communicating advanced data analytics to inform program performance and model of care design.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for monitoring and communicating the performance of our value-based care programs. This entails developing reports and performing analysis to measure teammate performance in executing the model of care and understand the impact on program performance.

This role will work with teammates across various teams ranging from analyst, to clinicians and operators, to executive leaders. The environment is highly collaborative and team oriented with a differential focus on both professional and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

The analyst must be able to work successfully with cross-functional teams and have the maturity to interact directly with both peers and executives across departments. The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.
  • Write SQL queries against data warehouses containing clinical operations and medical claims data to support analytic and reporting requests and delivery of summarized outcomes and insights
  • Develop summary level reporting, primarily in Tableau, to assist operations leaders in monitoring care team performance and understanding areas of success or opportunity
  • Leverage existing analytic tools and supporting data to monitor operations performance and identifying clinical, utilization, demographic and medical cost trends.
  • Design reporting and communication materials to facilitate consistent interpretation of program performance to Davita IKC executive leadership
  • Develop executive level communications, typically done in PowerPoint, and adapt communication for relevant internal stakeholders (clinical, finance, operations)
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; business and/or healthcare focus strongly recommended
• 2+ years of experience in an operational business setting, consulting, or corporate strategy role preferred
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Smartsheet required; intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
• Advanced critical thinking, strong work ethic, creative mindset, adept communication skills, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, efficient time management, technical aptitude, and business acumen
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with VBA and SQL a plus
