American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes. The US Small Business and Middle Market segment (SME - Small and Medium Enterprise) is the largest GCS customer segment, with tremendous growth momentum, and continues to be a key area of investment and focus for our company.
The US SME Customer Growth Marketing team focuses on delivering customer-centric treatments to expand and deepen our relationship with existing Small Business and Middle Market Card Members.
The Sr. Analyst, B2B Lend Marketing will support a cross channel marketing strategy for the Lend Promo APR treatment and will lead the execution in email and direct mail. This person should have a track record of success in delivering projects on time by mastering execution and influencing partners along the way as they will partner cross functionally across various teams including Product Management, Channel Marketers, Brand, Legal & Compliance, Risk, Analytics, Technology, and Finance. This is a highly visible role with huge opportunity for exposure to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and help evolve the Promo Pricing Strategy across 4 main marketing channels through understanding of our business Card Members, suite of business products and data sources, qualitative and quantitative.
- Manage development of creative, campaign set-up and execution of Customer Marketing content - creation, legal review and deployment in the email and direct mail channels.
- Accelerate our automation practices in both contact strategy and targeting.
- Execute test and learn curriculum to drive organic growth through targeted initiatives
- Constantly collaborate with partners to deliver projects, scale existing treatments, and understand key drivers of results.
- Monitor, analyze and report out on campaign results to peers and Senior Leadership.
- Be the SME of Email and Direct Mail processes.
- Manage budget related to promo pricing treatment this treatment
Minimum Qualifications
- +2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Exceptional project management - A master in campaign execution and a great ability to influence partners.
- Strong communication skills - Has the ability to drive results through collaboration with key partners.
- Robust analytical skills - Has the ability to draw insights and drive strategy; advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Outstanding organization skills - Ability to clearly outline detailed, next steps while ensuring the overarching, "big picture" goal is not lost by managing timelines.
- Innovator - Passionate about breaking the status quo and has good knowledge of compelling marketing outside of American Express.
- Results driver with exceptional sense of accountability and ownership
- Positive energy and enthusiasm with a "can-do" attitude and someone who wants to have fun!
Preferred Qualifications
- Digital and/or Direct Mail expertise preferred - experience executing, managing, and tracking an end-to-end email and/or direct mail marketing campaign
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
