Sr Analyst, Cybersecurity (Remote)

We are looking for a Sr Analyst who will join our Cybersecurity team in a remote capacity.

The Sr Analyst, Cybersecurity is a key member of the Information & Cyber Security team responsible for providing daily operational support to information security processes.

This position and the Information & Cyber Security team play a key role in protecting our assets from events that may have a negative impact on the Company and its shareholders. We are looking for high-performing and high-potential candidates who can make a significant and immediate contribution to our team.

What you'll do in this role:
• Administer security platforms and toolsets in an active, hands-on operational role
• Analyze and respond to security threats from various security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM platform, endpoint protection, web filter, email protection, etc.) through close coordination with our Security Operations Center
• Execute security operations, such as log and event management, malware analysis, forensic analysis, incident response, and provide escalation to management
• Develop and maintain protections for threat intelligence, threat analysis, and threat remediation
• Develop and maintain reports and metrics on security domains
• Facilitate vulnerability and patch management execution in line with organizational risk policies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of information security threats, vulnerabilities, practices, principles and solutions
• Assist in the coordination and completion of information security operations documentation

What you'll need to be successful:• 4+ years of Information Security or Cybersecurity work experience• Bachelor degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience• Security+, CISSP, CEH, GIAC, OSCP, ITIL or other relevant information technology and security certifications are desired• Knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more specific technical areas, such as network/cloud security, security log management, threat intelligence, email security, vulnerability management, incident response, social engineering, or hacking techniques• Technical proficiency in Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
• Experience with malware prevention and endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms, tools, and best practices• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, tools, and best practices• Experience with cyber intelligence gathering, processing, and IOC development• Fluency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, PowerShell, C++, C#, Bash, or Perl is desired• Experience developing repeatable processes, automation procedures, and playbooks for security systems• Working knowledge of IT-related laws and compliance mandates (e.g. Sarbanes Oxley 404, PCI DSS, HIPAA/HITECH,CCPA, GDPR) is desired• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills to identify and deliver high performing solutions• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in understandable business terms• Ability to coordinate delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks as well as collaborate with Business partners
