Job Summary

This position provides financial guidance, direction, and analytical support for the eComm organization within Harley-Davidson. It will be responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting for the eComm P&L and Balance Sheet, as well as provide insights and analytics to influence revenue and margin performance and operating expense management. This position will also be responsible for the financial management of the eComm monthly/quarterly results and annual budgeting and forecasting activities and be a key financial partner to influence decisions within the eComm channel.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive financial support for eComm, including, but not limited to, financial modeling and analysis, consolidation of P&L for annual operating plan and long-range plan.
• Business partnership for strategic planning and coordination among business stakeholders for the consolidation of P&L and annual target setting to deliver appropriate operating income results to HDIs bottom line
• Support eComm leaders with the financial management of eComm costs including, but not limited to, coordinates the development, and assist in the preparation of all budgets and forecasts for expense, capital, and headcount in accordance with the financial planning calendar.
• Provides monthly financial support to the business: Record month-end journal entries/accruals; Assure all expenses are recorded in the month incurred; and Analyze spending variances
• Manages key audit controls for GAAP compliance and tax recognition
• Participate in special projects as needed

Bachelor's Degree Required

Education Specifications

• This position requires a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is Required. A CPA or equivalent is desired.

Experience Requirements

• Typically requires a minimum of 3+ years of related experience.
• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years related work and/or public accounting experience.
• Demonstrated competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling;
• Strong interpersonal skills and skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter continuously looking for process improvements.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective.
• Excellent organizational skills - ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints.

Preferred

• SAP experience a plus.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
