Job Summary
Reporting to Altice USA's Chief Data & Analytics Officer, this high visibility, key leadership role will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and developing the singular source of truth for business performance within Altice USA's business. This leader will help drive the company's aspiration to become a data-driven organization and will serve as a catalyst to inform data-based decisions on key actions and opportunities aimed at strengthening the company's competitive position and operational and financial health.
Responsibilities
- Develop a centralized capability aimed at informing and guiding AUSA's profitable growth, incorporating analytical support for marketing, product, and pricing/packaging.
- Recruit, motivate, develop, and engage a talented team of leaders and technical SME's that are dedicated to partnering hand-in-hand with business leaders to develop best-in-class data science and analytics capabilities aimed at transforming the operations of the business unit.
- Collaborate closely with the Data, Reporting, and Data Product organization to provide requirements to develop the "source of truth" for key business metrics and serve as the catalyst to driving key business decisions.
- Partner with Media and Brand teams to implement, measure, and monitor actionable Performance and Brand media; drive data-driven media strategies to help improve return on marketing investment and personalization.
- Seek to maniacally understand and influence the core drivers of marketing channel performance; leverage this understanding to derive new insights that result in measurable improvements to marketing operations.
- Partner closely with the Product Teams to understand and derive performance indicators that influence product roadmaps.
- Partner with the pricing team to transform AUS's approach to pricing to ensure growth in customer lifetime value.
- Drive implementation of "Next Best Action" in direct marketing channels (direct mail, email, outbound telemarketing, door-to-door).
- Drive a transformation to bring together disparate teams and functions into a unified, aligned team with a one-team mindset by leading a multi-level team with a disciplined focus on culture, strategy, and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Deep experience leveraging analytics to drive actionable insights and implementable strategies; proven track record of shaping business strategy with data and analytics. This will require a substantive understanding of the lifecycle of analytics across analysis, data science, and machine learning.
- Experience in telecommunications, media, and/or technology highly preferred
- Previous proven experience leading teams of data scientists and data analysts to improve marketing channel performance.
- "Player-Coach" approach to coaching and developing a team-a leader who is not afraid to "get their hands dirty"
- Understanding of a cloud data environment with the ability to partner closely with an Enterprise IT organization
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to summarize analytic findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to collaborate closely with executives all levels of an organization.
- Hands-on approach to learning the Altice USA business to quickly and thoughtfully augment the strategic value of a unified analytics function

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $77,686.00 - $124,297.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
