WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Sr Analyst Market Insights you will be a critical member of the Marketing team and support the optimization of our go-to-market plans via the collection, analysis, synthesis and interpretation of market and competitive data into actionable insights. You will work cross-functionally with a wide variety of stakeholders, including marketing, product, sales, finance and data analytics. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and an information virtuoso dedicated to deciphering the domains of our markets and business competition. Understanding our markets and gaining a competitive edge is vital to our business success.

WHERE YOU'LL WORK

This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Burlington, MA or Leawood, KS office location preferred. Remote will be considered within the United States.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Research, analyze, synthesize and present thorough customer, industry, and market trends across categories and products to inform go-to-market plans.
  • Support the curation of primary and secondary intelligence and develop proactive and on-demand deliverables. Lead selective research projects, overseeing agencies and research partners as needed.
  • Provide key insight into competitors within the market by using primary and secondary research tactics.
  • Create quarterly executive-level market and competitive summaries.
  • Work with all cross-functional teams to identify, monitor and mine internal and external data to help influence our product marketing and go-to-market strategies across all channels.
  • Participate in enrollment forecasting and market opportunity analysis.
  • Monitor competitors and review win/loss data to identify trends that may affect retention and sales.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years related experience
  • Strong research and verbal and written communication skills with experience preparing and presenting content at the executive level
  • Exceptional ability to construct narratives around data
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Investigative curiosity and thrives on driving actionable results
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to draw meaningful conclusions
  • Excellent research abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Experience leading qualitative and quantitative market research including vendor management
