IMG Marketing Overview:

As an enabler and accelerator of business across Nationwide Financial, IMG Marketing's partners with other lines of business to serve their customers (retirement plan participants, annuitants, etc.) through investments offered within variable annuity, variable life, retirement plans and corporate-owned life insurance products. IMG Marketing also serves the needs of institutionally oriented investors (e.g., wirehouses, independent broker dealers, registered investment advisors, etc.) and financial professionals targeted through a dedicated sales team and marketing-driven broad-based outreach and lead generation. Our investment products include mutual funds, variable investment trusts (VITs), collective investment trusts (CITs) and exchange traded funds (ETFs) spanning multiple asset classes (equities, international, fixed income, asset allocation, target date, etc.) managed by Nationwide as well as outside managers via a subadvised model. IMG Marketing provides investment product marketing expertise, digital marketing experiences, in-person and virtual events and personalized experiences through journey marketing.

As a team, we leverage sophisticated marketing technology, data and analytics to partner with a broad array of expert stakeholders including internal and external agencies, PR, Media, Marketing Ops, Content and Delivery and other lines of business to bring our solutions to market. Assignment overview: The primary function of this role is to manage the production and delivery of investment product marketing materials in an automated dynamic publishing environment and in coordination with internal/external agencies. - Maintain data and information in fund pitchbooks, investment ideas and other communications used to inform investment decision making. - Coordinate with Product Management, external investment managers and with Marketing to ensure quality and accuracy of materials. - Support the production and delivery of product marketing materials (pitchbooks, fact sheets and more) which are refreshed on a quarterly basis in an automated publishing environment - Manage a high volume of ongoing production processes such as materials expirations, compliance reviews, website updates, and more. - Work as part of a high-performance marketing team to coordinate oncycle and offcycle content updates, streamline processes and drive continuous improvement. Relationship: Reports to AVP, IMG Marketing Duties. Additionally, working as part of an integrated, high-performance team, this role will include support of webinars and events planning and execution, including pre-at-and post event experiences.

Responsibilities: Lead and support projects centered on the following:

1. Manage content changes in investment product marketing materials (such as pitchbooks) that are used to inform investment decision making.

2. Manage a high volume of quarterly product marketing materials updates spanning data, content and disclosure working with a dynamic publishing system (Synthesis) and with internal/external agencies.

3. Manage projects related to creating and maintaining website content and data, partner with stakeholders including product management, digital marketing and compliance who provide essential input and signoff and coordinate activities as part of the IMG Marketing team.

4. Support ongoing marketing content materials management including ongoing reviews of all materials and website content.

5. Manage an array of product marketing projects associated with new product launches or lifecycle changes, updating materials and websites.

6. Manage time-sensitive updates spanning digital marketing assets, web content, print/electronic materials.

7. Other duties as assigned. Must be flexible to assume additional duties as required by evolving opportunities and department priorities. This includes the ability to learn and apply information from various business units and partners.

Skills and Competencies:

• Project management - proven ability to set work priorities, balance and organize work in a fast-paced and work independently as well as in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Ability to conceptualize and manage large, complex projects and effectively manage projects in a large, matrix management organization

• Process and technology aptitude - proven experience working with desktop applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) as the basis to learn proprietary software skills

• Problem solving - proven ability to identify and structure problems and issues, brainstorm solutions with team, logically present ideas to solve problems • Communications - excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to articulate messaging, resolve issues, define processes, etc. both orally and in writing

• Editorial / proof-reading - ability to review investment related content and disclosure. While the candidate does not need product technical expertise, the ability to flag spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. as well as manage consistency in copy spanning multiple materials is needed

• Desire to learn and contribute to full potential - this role offers significant potential to go above and beyond to advance projects and contribute to the overall effort. A self-starter, positive-attitude and desire to grow and excel are essential

• Teamwork - as part of a dynamic, fast-paced team-oriented environment, it is essential this individual develops and maintains strong working relationships with all key stakeholders, effectively manages his/her time and contributes to the overall success and engagement of the team.

REQUIREMENTS: • Preferably 3+ years experience in marketing-related fields and a high comfort level working on large-scale marketing related projects • Familiarity with complex financial products (investments, annuities, retirement plans) and distribution models a plus • Investment marketing-marketing and/or product management experience working with annuities and mutual funds/VITs/ETFs is preferred but not required • Proofreading and editing skills - attention to detail • Martech experience (Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, etc.) preferred • Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel) aptitude required

EDUCATION: Bachelor level studies in marketing, communications, business administration or related field.

LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS: Series 6 required within 90 days /Series 7 preferred but not required

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. If a Sales job, Sales Incentives, based on performance goals are possible in addition to this range. The role may also be eligible for either short-term or long-term incentive plans based on business and/or position-specific results. Newly hired full-time associates receive a minimum of 18 days paid time off each full calendar year, pro-rated quarterly based on hire date. Newly hired full-time associates at higher job levels may receive additional paid time off. You will also receive 8 hours of Lifetime paid time off and 8 hours of Unity Day paid time off. Typical Skills and Experience:

Education: Undergraduate studies in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising or related field preferred.

Experience: Typically, three or more years of related professional experience in the marketing, research or development; experience with life/health/annuity, property/casualty insurance or financial services products a plus.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Demonstrated understanding of basic marketing practices and procedures. Knowledge of two more marketing fields such as database management, research, marketing campaigns. Prefer familiarity with applicable products/distribution systems. Insurance and/or financial services products and terminology a plus. Command of all skills necessary for verbal and written communications to explain complicated analyses and quantified information. Proven ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and external factors. Ability to set work priorities that conform to established objectives, time frames and accomplish a task in the most effective manner. Validated ability to lead projects and define administrative methods and procedures to attain office objectives.
