Sr Analyst, Network Provisioning & Pricing
This critical role in the Finance department is responsible for driving results and operational excellence by developing relationships with network vendors and identifying the best access technology and vendor for each solution. This role is responsible for assisting in onboarding and provisioning new services with telecom vendors while ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and contract requirements.
Participates in analyzing complex contract terms, conditions, and requirements, evaluating cost and pricing data, analyzing estimated and realized revenues, performing administrative commitments, and ensuring reporting is done accurately and timely. participates and assesses network pricing strategy as well as the execution, implementation, and optimization of current, new, and future network/pricing innovation. Develops capabilities specifically targeted to achieve the efficient and effective application of the company’s products and services toward the achievement of total cost savings and improved outcomes for the company’s clients.
Interacts with other internal team members throughout the organization to ensure that expectations are always met, and vendor obligations are fulfilled. This position requires maintaining the right balance between tactical execution, vendor management, relationship building, technical onboarding and cross-functional influence.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate vendor onboarding and vetting, ensuring all paperwork is properly submitted, coordinating circuit activations, and troubleshooting vendor concerns and/or internal concerns with the applicable vendor.
- Assist in developing business, industry, competitive, client, and technical knowledge to formulate pricing strategy and execute financial modeling of comprehensive pricing strategies.
- Desire to be creative and solve complex data analytical problems that assist in business processes.
- Ability to read/write queries and establish workflows to design and implement process automation and improvement.
- Assist with ensuring vendors are delivering to key performance indicators as provided in contracts.
- Create support tools (excel, MS Teams, etc.) and materials to manage and track vendors.
- Act as a “Help desk” for vendors to onboard them and maintain successful relationships.
- Work with other departments involved in the Vendor Management Process (Finance, Operations and Access Management).
- Work with the business to ensure timely fulfillment of orders, communications to staff and vendor timely response to requests for quotes and product lifecycle management.
- Conduct qualification process of contractor/partners including completed application/compliance information and background data.
- Work collaboratively with the team to build and maintain a solid, trusted database of contractor/partners.
- Decommission circuits as sites are closed or when a disconnect is strategically advantageous for the company.
- Data entry/profile maintenance as needed.
- Project manage contract renewal and/or replacement process.
- Accurately and promptly record and maintain circuit inventory within the tracking databases.
- Analyze, optimize, document, and automate key telco ordering processes.
- Build strategic relationships with Telco carriers to ensure their services scale with the company's growth.
Skills Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent follow-up and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and handle/prioritize multiple projects/daily work.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer skills in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point, intermediate Excel skills preferred.
- Position requires a team player, positive proactive attitude and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and bring forth solutions timely.
- RFP, contract and vendor management a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in business administration, information technology, communication, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience.
- Deep experience with telecommunications vendors, technologies, and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and process discipline.
- Self-managed and committed to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to critically analyze internal and external processes and drive improvements to completion.
- Knowledge and experience with Finance in a corporation; budget, cost savings, POs, invoices, etc.
- Ability to function independently towards a common directive without need for consistent oversight.

Physical And Sensory Requirements
The physical and sensory abilities required for this classification include:
- Strength to lift a 50-pound object, without assistance, and items weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance.
- Coordination and equilibrium sufficient to climb a ladder and maintain balance while pulling cable.
- Sight to read computer screens and standard computer printouts may involve extensive VDT exposure; visual color discrimination sufficient to distinguish the color codes of wire and schematic drawings.
- Hearing, speech, sight, and physical dexterity sufficient to function in a typical office environment.
- Coordinated, skillful movements of fingers, hands and arms to operate a computer keyboard; may require hand/eye coordination for semi-skilled movements, such as taking apart casings, installing parts and reconnecting computers.
- Strength and dexterity to crawl, kneel, crouch, or twist to reach/and or work with assigned systems.
- Manual and finger dexterity sufficient to work with hands in close tolerances and to work with extremely small electronic components.
- Strength, mobility and dexterity to use small hand and power tools as necessary and to climb or crawl to install equipment in areas of close tolerance.
