Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, support, and maintenance of applications within our ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and support solutions with .NET (C#), ReactJS, SQL Server, Postgres, and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into actionable technical roadmaps.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
• Drive continuous engineering and process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Design resilient and reliable distributed systems using modern architectural best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards.
• Champion secure software development practices, ensuring safe, robust, and resilient systems.
• Oversee application lifecycle management and ensure structured decommissioning of end-of-life products.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and identify solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience designing and developing software systems in a team environment.
• Expertise in architecture principles, solution design, cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, etc.), and secure software development.
• Experience building distributed systems in a moderately polyglot environment (C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python).
• Experience with SQL Server, Postgres, and MongoDB databases.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Mortgage experience is a plus
